the_bipocalypse aims to make information accessible and understandable. those most affected by the removal of individual and group privacies are often the least able to know how to prevent it or do much to protect themselves and their community.

the services offered by the_bipocalypse are solo endeavor run by a multi-marginalized, no income, Black femme and cancer survivor trying to avoid becoming unhoused, again.

those who are able to fully compensate the labor cost of preparing and providing consultations and workshops are:

• actively fighting the capitalist economy we live in that underpays Black women and femmes
• offering space for those who need discounts in order to attain the same information
• using direct mutual aid to support a family of humans and animals of varying marginalized demographics
• raising the collective vibration that allows us to rise the tide together lifting all boats

as someone who has only existed in extreme poverty, I (binky) know first hand what it means to be able to receive free or affordable information. i also know first hand the experience of being intentionally underpaid for the same work as non-marginalized individuals who are often less qualified and overcompensated.

for those who can pay, but can’t cover the whole fee, you have the option to pick ONE of the three discounts offered:

1. Patreon members get a 20% discount regardless of member tier
2. Sliding scale fee, to be determined on an individual basis as all cases are unique
3. No one turned away for lack of funds

captialism is bad for humanity. it is designed to specifically disenfranchise Black, Native and disabled persons, in addition to many other marginalized populations. refusing to pay people a living wage or properly compensate people for their time, labor and effort is equally as inhumane. because many individuals are socioeconomically locked out of important knowledge, discounts and sliding scale options are offered in the optimistic hope that a more fair society is still possible, even if only a few people benefit.

free zines are often available at community stores in Oakland, Ca or handed out throughout the SF Bay Area when there is enough money to buy ink to print them. the goal of this project, the_bipocalypse, is to maintain enough community and financial support to permanently offer free workshops and consultations for all. until then, the_bipocalypse will continue to offer support where and when possible, while simultaneously humbly requesting the support to do so.
